WILD GIRL, THE BEST
Chapter 1: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
Once upon a time, long long ago, there was a girl named Sulee. She lived with her aunt, her step aunt to be exact. Her step aunt didn’t want her and when she was 10 years old, Sulee was sent to an orphanage. There were some kids that did not live at the orphanage but came over to the orphanage to play. Sometimes they were mean to everyone and sometimes they weren’t. One of the girls that did not live at the orphanage was named Twilight.
Maybe I should go into more detail about Sulee before we continue with the story. She has big brown eyes, long brown hair, olive tan skin and she prefers to be kind. Sometimes she finds it difficult to be kind to kids that are mean. She knows that it’s possible to defend herself while still being kind but it’s hard to do.
So now, back to the story. Twilight liked to taunt Sulee by telling her that she would never escape from the orphanage. Somehow Twilight found out that Sulee had a secret plan to try to escape. The day that Twilight started to taunt her, Sulee realized that Twilight would tell the head mistress of the orphanage about her plan. That night Sulee decided that she couldn’t wait any longer and she planned her escape. She’s tiptoed down to the kitchen with her backpack and filled it full of food and some bottles of water. Then she climbed out the window, ran across the yard, staying in the shadow of the trees. When she got to the road she dashed across and followed the edge of the road a ways until she heard a car coming up the road behind her. She quickly hid behind some bushes and saw the head mistress drive by.
After that, she decided to walk in the tall grass farther from the road. At daybreak she saw a fence with an oak tree beside it. It was a perfect spot for a picnic. She sat down and ate some of her food and drank some water. When her stomach was full, she felt tired and took a nap on the soft grass.
When Sulee woke up, she stood and looked on the other side of the fence. There lay a beautiful mare by a willow tree. She climbed the fence and walked over to the horse to pet her.
